SHADOW MOUNTAIN HOME
This 11,000 square foot home is nestled at the base of Shadow Mountain and just a short walk into town. The home is designed with 4 luxury bedroom suites. Anchored with a stone base and with horizontal cedar siding, vertical reclaimed barnwood and crafted log accents, the home captures the Colorado mountain rustic style. The entry from the street is over a foot bridge crossing a small stream. Custom log and branch railings are found at the sides of the bridge and on the upper level decks of the home.
The back of the home features a patio with a built-in fire-pit that is perfect for family gatherings. Situated at the back of the site is a new tiny guest cabin. It is constructed to appear as if it has been on the property for over a century. A naturally rusted corrugated metal roof caps off an authentically built square log structure. With a barnwood soffit, trim and gable ends, the cabin is complete with a rustic porch and pealed log posts. Inside the cabin is a kitchenette, fireplace and sitting area, sleeping loft and a full bath with a claw foot tub. This finished jewel provides a quaint retreat for both kids and adults.
